TVS recently introduced the new Apache RTR 160 4V Black Edition in India. This motorcycle is different from the standard model in some ways. Let’s look at the top five features of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Black Edition.
Style
The new Apache RTR 160 4V sports an all-black theme, true to its moniker. Everything, including the hardware parts and bodywork, is painted black, giving it a detailed and stealthy look. The body panels are kept basic with a minimalist design, with no graphics included. The black TVS emblem on the tank and light “Apache” and “RTR 160 4V” stickers on the sides and tail are the only markings on it.
Features
The motorcycle’s class-leading features include three riding modes, a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity on specific models, all-around LED lighting, and Glide Through Technology (GTT), which makes navigating through traffic easier. This feature differentiates the variant from others.
Engine and Power
The Apache RTR 160 has a 4V 159.7cc oil-cooled motor that produces 17.31bhp and 14.73Nm of peak torque. A five-speed gearbox has been installed. The motorcycle’s small weight of 144 kg and a well-tuned suspension provide excellent handling.
Cycle Parts
Despite the new look of the TVS new bike, Apache RTR 160 4V Black Edition, there are no changes in its mechanical aspects. It has 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends; for suspension, it has telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear. On the Black Edition, the braking gear consists of a rear drum brake and a front disc brake.
Price
The ex-showroom price of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Black Edition is Rs 1.25 lakh. This is at par with the cost of the bike’s most affordable variant, which does not have a rear disc brake and Bluetooth connectivity.
