After unveiling the cover of the bike last month, Hero Bikes has officially launched the much-awaited Mavrick 440 motorcycle in India. The base model is priced at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom), while the most expensive model is priced at Rs 2.24 lakh (ex-showroom).
Three different versions of the bike are available: Base, Mild, and Top. Approved dealerships are ready to accept bookings for the motorcycle from interested buyers. This can also be done online through the official website of Hero, making it more convenient and accessible. It is estimated that deliveries of the Mavrick 440 motorcycles will begin in April.
Hero Mavrick 440: Design and new offers
Regarding the design, the Harley-Davidson X440 influenced the company as it looks very close. It has a powerful fuel tank, circular LED headlights, LED DRLs, and stylish small-sized turn indicators, giving it an aggressive road image. The spoke wheels on the base model differ from the beautiful alloy wheels on the top-end variant.
To attract more customers, Hero has also launched the Welcome to Mavrick Club promotion, which offers a free Mavrick kit worth Rs 10,000 to consumers who pre-book a bike by March 15.
Hero Mavrick 440: Specs and features
The 440cc single-cylinder engine at the core of the Mavrick 440 produces a maximum of 27 horsepower and 36 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. This is the same configuration as seen on the Harley-Davidson X440.
The Mavrick 440 is a street bike that features a single-seating configuration to provide excellent comfort to the rider and passenger over long distances. The Bluetooth-enabled motorcycle also features a fully digital instrument cluster, allowing riders to check parameters such as RPM, fuel capacity, speed, gear position, time, and accessories.
It also has a USB-C port, making it more convenient for riders to charge compatible gadgets while out and about.
In terms of technology, the Mavrick 440 features negative display digital instruments with smartphone connectivity, low fuel warning, turn-by-turn driving directions, and many other features. Additionally, the device supports eSIM-based connectivity, which gives the user access to over 35 functions through the Connected 2.0 app and additional features like remote tracking.
Hero Mavrick 440: Colors and Rivals
Apart from the three variants, Hero offers the Mavrick 440 in five different colors. The mid-range variant is offered in Celestial Blue and Fearless Red, while the base variant is available exclusively in Arctic White. Phantom Black and Enigma Black are the two colors available with the top-spec variant.
The Mavrick 440 competes with the Royal Enfield Classic 350, BMW G 310 R, Triumph Speed 400, Harley-Davidson X440, and TVS Apache RTR 310 in India.
