Ather Rizta Z Vs Vida V1 Pro

The Rizta is Ather’s most recent electric scooter offering. It is not only the EV manufacturer’s most recent model but also entirely distinct from any other scooter that Ather has ever sold. The Rizta is a family-friendly scooter that comes in two versions: S and Z. It competes in this market with the TVS iQube S, Vida V1 Pro, and a few other brands.

Thus, we have contrasted the flagship Vida scooter, the V1 Pro, with the top-spec Rizta Z.

FEATURES

With traction control, mobile charging, auto hold, reverse mode, and three ride modes (Smart, Eco, and Zip), Ather has packed the Rizta Z with amenities. The fully digital instrument console allows for the monitoring of all these parameters. It also has Google Maps smartphone connectivity, real-time traffic data display, call reply auto-response and WhatsApp preview functionality. Regenerative braking is another feature of the Rizta Z that lets you slow down the scooter without applying the brakes.

The main drawback is that Ather electric scooters only provide these electronic assists on the Rizta Z if the Pro Pack is purchased, which is an additional Rs. 20,000 in cost.

The Vida V1 Pro comes with four riding modes (Eco, riding, Sport, and Custom), cruise control, two-way throttle, vehicle diagnostics, a colour TFT screen, navigation, anti-theft alarm, geofencing, and incoming call notifications. Both scooters are equal and come with a good number of features.

BATTERY AND MOTOR

A 3.7kWh battery and a 4.3kW motor power the Ather Rizta Z. It has a 160 km range and a top speed of 80 km/h. Two detachable 1.97kWh batteries coupled to a 6kW motor (peak power) are what Vida provides with the V1 Pro. The system promises a top speed of 80 km/h and a range of 110 kilometres.

HARDWARE

Both scooters have a mono-shock in the back and telescopic front forks. The hardware for the rear drum and front disc brakes is even identical. The two EVs use 12-inch wheels.

DESIGN

It is clear that various audiences are the target market for the styling of the Rizta Z and the V1 Pro. As previously indicated, Rizta’s boxy form and massive dimensions reflect a more conservative design philosophy. However, the VIDA V1 Pro also has a slightly sportier, younger, and more futuristic appearance.

Nevertheless, both electric scooters have a stylish and valuable appearance.

PRICE

The Ather Rizta Z is being offered for Rs. 1,49,631, with the Pro Pack costing an additional Rs. 20,000. On the other hand, the Vida V1 Pro (both ex-showroom, Delhi) costs Rs. 1,68,098 lakh. Although the Ather Rizta costs somewhat more, it has a few extra features and a more excellent range.
