2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R

Kawasaki India unveiled the new bike in its most recent avatar to revive the Ninja ZX-6R in the middleweight supersport class. Some improvements have been made to the motorcycle compared to the previous generation. The top five highlights of the 2024 model are listed below.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R: New Style

Although it has minor design changes from its predecessor, the 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R retains its aggressive appearance. The fascia has been significantly revised with a curved outer fairing around the headlamps. Despite these modifications, the bike looks youthful, aggressive, and sporty.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R: New Updated Engine

The 636cc inline four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine powering the 2024 Ninja ZX-6R still complies with Euro 5 emissions requirements. The powertrain produces 128 horsepower and 69 Nm of torque. Kawasaki also includes a slipper clutch and a bi-directional quick-shifter for seamless gear changes.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R: Hardware

The ZX-6R’s fully adjustable 41 mm large-piston USD fork at the front and a connected gas-charged mono-shock at the rear provide the best possible suspension performance. For braking, a 220mm disc has been used in the rear, and a 310mm twin disc in the front. The motorcycle’s 17-inch multispoke wheels are shod with grippy rubber tyres.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R: New Features

To provide a better experience to customers, Kawasaki Motorcycles has added more functions to the new Ninja ZX-6R. Apart from the 4.3-inch TFT display, which offers smartphone connectivity for calls and SMS alerts, the motorcycle now has LED lighting. Additionally, the bike has four ride modes: Sport, Road, Rain, and Rider (customizable).

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R: Price, Rivals

Kawasaki’s Ninja ZX-6R is priced at Rs 11.09 (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is Rs 60,000 more than when the motorcycle was last put on sale in India. This is a reasonable price for the brand compared to other motorcycles in the same segment and above. This motorcycle competes with the Aprilia RS660 in the Indian market.
