Ola Electric Bike

In India, the launch of Ola Electric Bikes is anticipated for 2023. Ola Electric presently sells its S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters in the nation, but it has since been announced that an electric bike will join them as well. This bike is anticipated to be priced higher than Ola Electric’s current e-scooter offerings.

On the 76th anniversary of India’s independence, Ola Electric made a number of exciting announcements. The business has announced the launch schedule for its electric automobile, which will appear in 2024, and also unveiled the brand-new base S1 electric scooter, which costs Rs 99,990.

OLA co-founder and CEO Bhavish Aggarwal were quoted as claiming that the company will announce the release of its first electric bike in India within a year. It is just one of the many breakthroughs made at the online event. According to Aggarwal, a bike would be revealed within months, not years.

Ola Electric Scooters in India: S1 And S1 Pro

Ola Electric presently sells its S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters in India. However, it has just been reported that an electric bike would be added to the lineup and likely rank higher than these scooters. Aggarwal did not provide any other information on the planned Ola Electric bike, although the idea is probably still in the early stages of development. Ola might start teasing information about this project in the coming months. This is similar to what it has started doing with its battery-powered car, which won’t be released for a few more years.

2023 Ola Electric Bike: Specifications and Features

While the Ola Electric bike’s technical specifications and features are currently lacking, we expect this model to have a range of about 150–200 kilometers for each complete charge cycle. This will give it the edge it needs to compete with rivals like the Revolt RV400, Kratos electric bike, and others.

The e-bike is likely to include several market-leading features including a digital display, smartphone connectivity, OTA updates, re-gen support, cruise control, and riding modes, just like the S1 scooter line does.

Although it is too soon to predict the pricing range of the Ola Electric bike, you can anticipate it to fall between Rs. 1.40 lakh and Rs. 1.60 lakh. In the upcoming months, more information will be made official.
