1. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R launched in India at the beginning of the new year on January 01, 2024. The Ninja ZX-6R is a 650cc motorcycle in the sport bike series of Japanese manufacturer Kawasaki. The bike is available in 2 colors: Lime Green/Ebony and Metallic Graphite Grey/Metallic Diablo Black.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is powered by a 636cc BS6 engine that produces 122.03 bhp power and 69 Nm torque. The bike weighs 198 kg, and its fuel tank capacity is 17 liters. The new Ninja ZX-6R features full LED illumination, 4.3-inch TFT with smartphone connectivity, four ride modes – Sport, Road, Rain, or Rider (manual), and dual channel ABS.
2. Kawasaki Eliminator
Kawasaki Eliminator launched on 03 January 2024. The Kawasaki Eliminator is a cruiser motorcycle that includes a 451cc BS6 engine that develops 44.7 bhp of power and 42.6 Nm of torque. The Eliminator is available in a single variant, and its price starts at Rs 5,62,000.
Kawasaki offers the bike in a single-tone color of Metallic Flat Spark Black. The Eliminator looks more retro and slightly longer than the Vulcan S. The bike features a fully digital screen with full LED illumination, all the necessary readouts, and smartphone connectivity.
3. Ather 450 Apex
Ather Energy launched a new electric scooter named Ather 450 Apex on 06 Jan 2024. The Ather 450 Apex has a top speed of 90 kmph and can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 3.3 seconds. The ex-showroom price of 450 Apex is Rs 1,88,947, and it is available in 1 variant, i.e. 450 Apex Standard.
4. Lectrix LXS
Lectrix LXS launched on 08 jan 2024. The Lectrix LXS electric scooter is powered by the LXS G 2.0, 1.8 kW electric motor. The Lectrix EV LXS G 2.0 weighs 100 kg. LXS G comes with a drum brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear.
The scooter is available in one variant, and LXS is available in 4 color options: Electric Red, Azure Blue, Moody Orange, and Zing Black.
5. Royal Enfield Shotgun 650
Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 was launched in India on January 15 at a starting price of Rs 3.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Shotgun 650 is available in three variants – Custom Shade, Custom Pro, and Custom Special. Also, the bike has four colors – Drill Green, Stencil White, Sheet Metal Gray, and Plasma Blue. New Features of Shotgun 650 being a bobber-style motorcycle, the company sells it in stock as a single-seater. It will also be provided with a supporting pillion seat, which can be removed to convert into a luggage rack.
6. Jawa 350
The all-new Jawa 350 was launched in India on 15 January 2024. The Jawa 350 is a cruiser bike available in only one variant and three colors – Maroon, Orange, and Black. Jawa 350 has a 334 cc BS6 engine, which generates power of 22.26 bhp and torque of 28.1 Nm. The bike weighs 194 kg, and its fuel tank capacity is 13.2 liters.
The new Jawa 350 will compete with the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Honda CB350. Compared to the bikes it competes with, both motorcycles have single-cylinder, air-cooled engines, which produce less power than the Jawa 350 engine.
7. Husqvarna Svartpilen 401
Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 was launched in India on 16 January 2024. The new Svartpilen 401 is undoubtedly the best motorcycle to drive in metropolitan suburbs. The latest generation model offers a new twist to two-wheeler urban exploration by being lightweight, comfortable to ride, and truly unique in its design.
Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 is a street bike that is powered by a 399cc BS6 engine that produces 42.9 bhp of power and 39 Nm of torque. The weight of the bike is 171.2 kg, and the fuel tank capacity is 13.5 liters. Features of the new Husqvarna 401 include ride-by-wire traction control, supermoto ABS, a five-inch TFT with optional smartphone connectivity, and a Type-C charging port.
8. Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 [2024]
The 2024 Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 is a café racer bike that has a 249cc BS6 engine that produces 30.57 bhp of power and 25 Nm of torque. Features of the Vitpilen 250 include a five-inch LCD, Type-C USB port, all-LED lights, and traction control.
The updated Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 gets a new design that is distinctly Swedish and is an evolution of the previous Vitpilen 250 design. Apart from the design, the dimensions have also changed.
With the new chassis, the bike has now become more extensive and has 177mm more ground clearance; however, the seat height has become a more accessible 820 mm. Due to the larger dimensions, the fuel tank capacity has also increased to 13.5 liters.
9. Honda NX500
Honda NX500 was launched on 19 January 2024. The Honda NX500 is an adventure bike available in one variant and three colors – Grand Prix Red, Matte Gunpowder Black and Metallic, and Pearl Horizon White. The design of the bike is inspired by Honda’s rally bikes, which is evident in the bike’s large but flat bodywork, tall windscreen, and stance.
The riding position is upright for long-distance travel. The NX500 features all-LED lights, switchable traction control, and a five-inch color TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation.
10. Hero Xtreme 125R
Last on the list is the Hero Xtreme 125R, which was launched on 23 Jan 2024. The design of the Xtreme 125R is different from most commuters in the market as it gives it a sporty look. The front end gets a low-slung full-LED headlamp with a similar design to the Xtreme 200S unit. The fuel tank and the rear look attractive and are completed with a split-seat setup. Hero Xtreme 125R comes in three color options: Firestorm Red, Cobalt Blue, and Stallion Black.
Hero Xtreme 125R has a 124.7cc BS6 engine that produces 11.4 bhp power and 10.5 Nm torque. The Xtreme 125R comes with an anti-locking braking system. The bike’s kerb weight is 136 kg, and its fuel tank capacity is 10 liters.
