The Ather 450 Apex launched in India on January 6, 2024. It is powerful and stylistic. It is an extreme version of the electric Scooter. It was India’s first indigenously developed electric smart Scooter.
The top speed of the Scooter is 100kmph, which is higher than the 90kmph that the 450X manages. The Scooter rides on 12-inch wheels with MRF tires and comes with disc brakes at both ends, but there’s no ABS.
Engine and Hardware
The Ather 450 Apex is powered by a 7 kW watt PMSM Motor. The Scooter takes 5.45 Hr to get fully charged. It has a 3.7 kWh battery and a range of 90 km/charge. The motor produces a peak power output of 6.4kW with a 0-40kmph acceleration time of 3.3 seconds. The Scooter also gets a higher certified range of 157 km compared to the 450X’s accredited range of 150km.
Features
The 450 Apex features include all-LED lighting, a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, and Google navigation. The Scooter comes in six ride modes – Smart Eco, Eco, Ride, Sport, Warp, and Warp Plus. This Scooter is one of the fastest-accelerating scooters in India, and it includes the petrol-powered segment. Additionally, the Scooter comes in a unique new paint, Indium Blue, which looks like it is smashing with the orange wheels.
Colors
The 450 Apex is available in one variant and one color, Medium Blue. There are no changes in the bodywork; the Apex has a bright blue color and contrasting orange paint on the wheels, which is visible through the transparent side panels.
Price
Ather 450 Apex ex-showroom price starts from Rs. 1,88,947. This Scooter is the fastest electric Scooter and also the most expensive.
