Overview
The Indian two-wheeler electric manufacturer has added another offering to its portfolio, the Ather 450S. This is the second edition from the Karnataka-based electric automobile manufacturer.
Furthermore, the Ather 450S is positioned below the Ather 450X Gen 3. The former has a smaller battery pack than the latter.
Engine and Hardware
The 450S electric scooter is powered by a 5.4kW motor that enables a top speed of 90 Kmph and can accelerate from 0-40 Kmph in 3.9 seconds. In contrast, the lithium-ion battery is 2.9kWh, whose certified range is 115 km.
The actual range is 90 km for SmartEco mode, 85 km for Eco mode, 75 km for Ride mode, and 70 km for Sport mode. It can be charged from 0-80 percent in 6 hours 36 minutes, while 0-100 can be charged in 8 hours 36 minutes (both using a home charger).
The scooter also has another grid, which allows 0-50 percent charging at the rate of 1.5 km/min. Meanwhile, 50-80 percent will be at 1 km/min.
Features
The Ather 450S features a digital instrument cluster, a side stand alarm, a low battery indicator, and a digital clock. This electric scooter is also equipped with an anti-theft system.
Additionally, it has 22-liter under-seat storage, LED DRLs, LED headlights, LED tail- and brake lamps, LED indicator lights, and parking assist. It also offers a pass light, a start/stop button, ride modes (Smart Eco, Eco, Ride, and Sport), a GPS navigation system, and a pillion seat with grab rails and footrest.

Ather 450S is available in 4 color options: Salt Green, Space Grey, Cosmic Black, and Still White.
Price
Ather 450S is available in two variants. The price of the variants starts from Rs. 1,32,048 and goes up to Rs. 1,47,048.
