Kawasaki Z650RS is powered by a 649cc BS6 engine that generates 64 Nm of torque and 67.31 horsepower. Kawasaki Z650RS anti-lock braking system is equipped with both front and rear disc brakes. The gasoline tank on this Z650RS motorcycle holds 12 liters of fuel and weighs 192 kilograms.

The motorbike has a trellis frame, and its suspension consists of 41mm telescopic front forks and a horizontal back-link mono-shock. Twin 300mm rotors with dual-piston calipers at the front and a 220mm single disc with a single-piston caliper at the back are used for braking.
