TVS Motor Company launched the Jupiter variomatic scooter in September 2013 in India. The scooter segment in India has changed a lot in recent years. Jupiter has been one of the most popular two-wheelers offered by the BS6 automaker since it was launched in 2013.
The BS6 model of TVS Jupiter is equipped with eco-thrust fuel injection (ET-Fi) technology in its 110cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. The updated motor has 7.4bHP and 8.4 Nm of torque as against 7.8bhp and 8 Nm of the BS4 model. The fuel injection system makes the morning start nice and comfortable.
Engine and Hardware
The mechanical specification is Jupiter powered by a 109.7cc BS6 engine, that develops power of 7.77bhp and a peak torque of 8.8Nm. It has a fuel tank capacity is 5.8 liters and the kerb weight is 107 kg. It comes with both front and rear drum brakes and gets a combined braking system on both wheels.
Similar to the styling, the alloy wheels, metal body, saddle, and pillion grab-rail remain the same as the previous model. The back of the apron includes a cubby hole that can be used to hold a water bottle, sunglasses, or even a phone when plugged into a USB charger.

Standard features are included in LED headlights, halogen bulbs, taillights, metal body, USB charging port, and analog instrument console, and the under seat storage is 21 liters. Some additional features are ET-FI (Eco Thrust), Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL), Econometer, Unique Pass switch, and Parking brake.

The scooter is available in 17 paint schemes Titanium Grey, Walnut Brown, Starlight Blue, Metallic Red, Midnight Black, Pristine White, Royal Wine, and more.
