The upgraded model gets better suspension adjustability, stiffer fairing, a bigger windscreen, and modern ABS. Will India be able to see its beginning?

KTM has introduced the 2023 KTM 890 Adventure for the European market, and the company calls it the “ultimate master of all conditions and distances.” KTM claims that the 2023 edition of the 890 Adventure has “unbeatable power, weight, agility and unique features” that are “improved” to “take on every trail, any journey, any road or any route with ease.” for and makes for an “adrenaline rush.”

2023 KTM 890 Adventure: New Update

The KTM 890 Adventure has received a few updates for 2023. Additionally, it gets an elongated windscreen, updated TFT console, off-road ABS, and adjustable suspension.

According to the Austrian company, the KTM 890 Adventure for 2023 is an updated version of the current model. The bike also features more comprehensive panels on the tank and side panels, and the fairing has been strengthened to boost load-bearing capacity for the larger GPS units. The windscreen of the KTM 450 Rally was the inspiration for the bike’s high windscreen, which provides more protection.

2023 KTM 890 Adventure: Features

With an optional seat-lowering kit, you can lower the factory seat height from an adjustable height of 825 mm to 800 mm. In terms of dimensions, the KTM 890 Adventure looks similar to the India-made KTM 390 Adventure.

The two-part seat features a new soft foam structure and a slimmer front fender for better aerodynamics and weather protection. As well as being adjustable, you can lower the seat height to 825 mm or 800 mm with a seat-lowering device. Rebound and compression adjustments are now available thanks to the 43mm WP Apex forks, and the rear shock has full adjustability.

The 2023 KTM 890 Adventure gets fully adjustable front suspension, six-axis IMU, and off-road ABS settings.

Additionally, a new ABS unit with Off-Road ABS settings is available in Off-Road and Rally modes, complemented by a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). Street, Off-Road, Rain, and an optional Rally mode make up a total of four modes.

You can easily access the bike’s electronics through the new TFT instrument console, which offers connectivity and navigation options through the KTMConnect app.

The updated glass on the new 5-inch TFT instrument console is scratch- and glare-resistant. It also allows connectivity through the KTMConnect app, which makes it easy to navigate turn-by-turn, listen to audio, and make calls. The wheels are shod in Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR On/Off tyres. In India, KTM on road price starts from ₹ 1,78,937 to ₹ 3,37,638.
