2024 KTM 200 Duke launched in India with new color options

KTM has updated the 200 Duke by introducing two new colors for the 2024 model year. Known as Electronic Orange and Dark Galvano, these colors will be offered in addition to the existing Dark Silver Metallic variant. Although the Electronic Orange color was already available, the most recent model features white panels instead of silver and a new, sharper set of decals.

The bike’s bodywork has stayed the same. It still has the same single-piece, low-slung LED headlamp as the 250 Duke from two generations ago. Additionally, it retains the previous 13.4-liter fuel tank. The pointed tail section exposes half of the subframe and sharp extensions. We think it’s time for KTM to cosmetically update the 200 Duke by giving it bodywork similar to the newly launched bikes 250 Duke and 390 Duke.

Additionally, KTM still needs to update the hardware package. Duke 200 still has a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 19.3 Nm and 24.67 horsepower. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. It is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels with preload-adjustable mono-shock and WP USD forks. Dual-channel ABS braking hardware consists of a 230 mm disc at the rear and a 320 mm disc at the front. Regarding features, this famous street bike in India includes an LED headlamp and tail light, as well as an LCD dashboard without Bluetooth connectivity.

The new, updated 2024 KTM 200 Duke is priced at Rs. 1.97 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Regarding rival bikes, the 200 Duke mainly competes with the Suzuki Gixxer 250, Apache RTR 200 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS200, and the Yamaha MT 15 V2.
