OVERVIEW
The Bengaluru-based manufacturer's first electric models are the Ola S1 and S1 Pro. The S1 is the more cost-effective of the two, ranking above the S1 Air, Ola's most affordable option. The price of the Ola S1 and other electric scooters in the maker's lineup has recently increased.
ENGINE & HARDWARE
The OLA S1 motor produces 5500 W of power. The OLA S1 has dual-wheel braking system with front and rear disc brakes. The Ola S1 is constructed with a tubular frame supported by a swingarm-mounted monoshock and a single-sided front fork. It comes with 220mm front and 180mm rear discs with CBS standard for braking. It rides on 12-inch alloy wheels with 110-section tubeless tyres at both ends and has 165mm ground clearance. The e-scooter has a 121kg kerb weight.
FEATURES
The S1 is equipped with a touch-enabled 7-inch TFT instrument cluster, 36 litres of under-seat storage, and all-LED lighting. Additionally, the scooter has WiFi, GPS, and smartphone connectivity. Other helpful features include geofencing feature, anti-theft warning, reverse mode, get home mode, take me home lights, and limp home mode. The e-scooter has phone and music controls, a number of riding modes (which alter the console's layout and motor sound), and a Party Mode that uses the vehicle's built-in speakers.
MoveOS 3.0 adds Faux Motor Sounds, Hill Hold, and Vacation Mode. These features help preserve battery life when an electric vehicle is left idle for an extended period of time. Proximity Unlock, Ride Modes (Bolt, Vintage, and Eclipse), three regenerative braking levels, Hypercharging, and key sharing are additional features.
COLORS
Jet Black, Matte Black, Gerua, Liquid Silver, Coral Glam, Anthracite Grey, Midnight Blue, Porcelain White, Marshmellow, Millenial Pink, and Neo Mint are just a few of the 11 hues offered for the Ola S1.
PRICE
Ola S1's ex-showroom price in Delhi starts at Rs. 1.29 lakh. There is only one S1 variety, known as S1 STD.
