ENGINE & HARDWARE
This BS6 Triumph Tiger's 888cc inline three-cylinder liquid-cooled engine generates 87Nm at 7250 rpm and 95.2PS at 8750 rpm in the UK-spec version. A 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch works in tandem with the engine. The Tiger 900 in UK specification is rated at 19.2 Kmpl claimed mileage.
The Rally and Rally Pro trims of the upcoming Triumph Tiger 900 model's 45mm upside-down forks are robust and completely adjustable, improving handling. Dual 320mm front disc brakes and 255mm rear discs are standard across the range. The bike also has a tubular steel frame and rides on 150/70 R17 tyres at the back and 100/90-19 tyres up front.
FEATURES
Finally catching up with its rivals in electronics is the 2020 Triumph Tiger 900. Traction control, several riding modes, a bi-directional quick-shifter, and cornering ABS are among the features. Additionally, an upgraded 7.0-inch TFT display with all instrumentation is included. The headlamp and taillamp are both powered by LEDs in the electrical system. Additionally, the Tiger 900 has LED DRLs up front.
COLORS
Triumph Tiger 900 offers eight colors - Sapphire Black, Pure White, Matt Khaki, Sandstorm, Caspian Blue, Pure White, Matt Khaki, and Sandstorm.
PRICE
Three different Triumph Tiger 900 models are available. As of mid-2020, the GT variant of the Triumph Tiger 900 prices Rs. 13.70 lakh, the Rally variant costs Rs. 14.35 lakh, and the Rally Pro variant costs Rs. 15.5 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
RIVALS
The BMW F 900 XR, Kawasaki Versys 1000, Suzuki Hayabusa, and the Honda Africa Twin, variants are the main competitors of Triumph Tiger 900 in India.
