BMW Motorrad showcased the 2023 BMW S 1000 RR at India Bike Week 2022 in Goa. The company has started taking reservations for this and is planning to launch the bike on 10 December. All M models from BMW Motorrad will soon be available in the Indian market.
The 2023 S 1000 RR was unveiled by BMW Motorrad yesterday at India Bike Week 2022 in Goa. The company will present this motorcycle on 10 December this month. The company has also revealed that it will soon launch all M models in the Indian market. BMW has started taking orders for the S 1000 RR. The motorcycle now comes with a 3-year brand warranty from the firm, followed by an additional year’s warranty by the manufacturer.
With a speed of 300 km/h, the track-focused sports motorcycle S 1000 RR can produce 17.1 kg of downforce. When accelerating at high speeds, the motorcycle’s downforce is a counterbalance to prevent the front wheels from lifting off the ground, allowing the rider to maintain optimal grip in high-performance situations.
2023 BMW S 1000 RR: Dimension and Specs
BMW S 1000 RR dimensions are 2,073 mm long, 848 mm wide, and 1,205 mm tall. Its seat height is 824 mm, and its wheelbase is 1,457 mm. It weighs 197 kg (193.5 kg for the M package) when empty. It can hold 16.5 liters of fuel. It claims a fuel efficiency of 15.62 km/l.
The BMW S 1000 RR is powered by a 999cc, in-line 4-cylinder engine that produces 210 horsepower and 113 pound-feet of torque. Its maximum speed is 303 kmph. It takes only 3.21 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a multi-plate clutch.
BMW Motorrad ABS, ABS PRO, DTC (Dynamic Traction Control), HSC (Hill Start Control), 4 Riding Modes (Road, Rain, Dynamic, and Race), Shift Assistant Pro, 6.5″ TFT-Display, M Chassis Kit, M GPS Laptrigger (activation code), and M Lightweight Battery are standard on all BMW S 1000 RR.
