At the EICMA show in Milan, Italy, Honda introduced the MSX125 Grom, its small-wheeled monkey bike for 2023. Splendid Blue and Matt Dim Gray Metallic are the two new paint colors for the 2018 model year. Additionally, they will still offer the old red paint job for purchase.
- Honda MSX125 gets two new colors
- Mechanically unchanged
- Doubt to launch in India
Honda hasn’t made any changes to the appearance of the Grom, which makes sense given that it’s unlike any other two-wheeler currently in the market. It’s got a seriously unique appearance and small size, the perfect combination for young riders looking for an enjoyable yet practical two-wheeler. It is also quite light, with a curb weight of 103 kg. In terms of appearance, the new Gray color option stands out thanks to its unconventional graphics and golden wheels.
2023 Honda MSX125: Engine and Features
A 125cc, two-valve, air-cooled engine is mated to a five-speed transmission and outputs 9.5bhp at 7,250rpm and 10.5Nm at 5,500rpm on the MSX125 Grom. In terms of equipment, the Monkey bike gets 12-inch alloy wheels, top-of-the-line USD forks, and a mono-shock. To prevent this, a 220 mm disc at the front and a 190 mm rotor at the rear are responsible. The equipment list includes a single-channel ABS, LCD dash, LED headlamps, and taillamps.
Soon, the 2023 Honda MSX125 Grom will be available in overseas territories. However, they won’t be available anytime soon due to the lack of interest in such bikes in India.
