The Dominar 200 and the updated Dominar 160 have been formally unveiled by Bajaj Auto. However, Bajaj did not recently introduce these motorcycles in the Indian market but in Brazil. If one looks closely, these are rebranded copies of the Pulsar NS 160 and 200, currently available in our country.
Bajaj Dominar 160 and Dominar 200: What’s new?
The Pulsar NS 160 and NS 200 offered in India look exactly like the Brazil-spec Dominar 160 and Dominar 200. The only modification other than the USD (upside down) forks and Dominar badging on the body panels. These motorcycles get conventional telescopic front forks in India.
Bajaj Dominar 160 and Dominar 200: Specifications
Bajaj Dominar 160 is powered by a 160.3cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine that produces 17 bhp and 14.6 Nm of torque. The new one is powered by a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. The Dominar 200, on the other hand, produces 24.1 horsepower and 18.74 Nm of peak torque. They both come with a 6-speed manual transmission.
Bajaj Dominar 160 and Dominar 200: Price
Bajaj Dominar 160 price in Brazil is 18,680 BRL (Brazilian Real), which is approximately equivalent to 2,96 685 INR (Indian Rupee). The retail price of Dominar 200 is 19,637 BRL (Brazilian Real), approximately Rs 3,12,142 (Indian Rupees). On the other hand, the Pulsar NS 160 and NS 200 start at Rs 1.25 lakh and Rs 1.40 lakh, ex-showroom, respectively, in India.
