New Hero Adventure Maxi Scooter

Two-wheeler manufacturers are preparing to launch more exciting models for consumers, especially in the scooter market, as more and more riders are exploring adventure vehicles. Adventure scooters are slowly gaining popularity in international markets, but adventure motorcycles already have enough fans.

Hero MotoCorp plans to join the bandwagon by launching its first adventure scooter. The domestic two-wheeler manufacturer recently hinted at an upcoming adventure scooter using social media accounts. The teaser shows three models that will be showcased at the EICMA in Milan, Italy, in the coming days.

Hero Adventure maxi scooter

Among the three models shown by the company, the scooter at the center looks interesting because a few months ago, a patent from Hero MotoCorp that was similar to it was leaked online. It could be the same model. The following Hero two-wheeler will have a maxi-scooter style, similar to the Yamaha Aerox 155 and Aprilia SR 160, as will most adventure scooters sold worldwide.

Taking to social media, India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer has released another teaser image for its new maxi-style scooter. In the short video, Hero refers to it as a “two-wheeler SUV.” The video’s subtitle ends with “An adventure awaits,” emphasizing phrases like “X-plore, X-site, and X-experience” to hint at the scooter’s notable naming scheme.

Expected specs, design, and features

The brief teaser film reveals some critical design cues. For example, it has an aggressive front fascia with a twin LED headlamp arrangement and integrated LED DRLs that resemble a high-end adventure bike, the Ducati Hypermotard. It also has an ADV presence due to the large windscreen at the front.

The Xtreme 160 4V is expected to feature the same power plant as the future adventure maxi scooters. This suggests that it may have a 163cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. This motor produces 14.6 Nm of peak torque and 16.6 horsepower in extreme mode. This should be changed to some extent in the next scooter.

Regarding features, Hero will likely offer the next adventure scooter with gadgets like a full-color TFT screen, Bluetooth, music playing, navigation, rider telematics, etc. The Hero Adventure scooter is expected to be priced at around Rs 1.30 lakh. Ex-showroom).
