Ducati V4 SP: Chassis
For better stability, the Streetfighter V4 SP uses Marchesini forged magnesium wheels. This enables a weight reduction of 0.9 kg compared to the forged aluminum wheels of the Streetfighter V4 S, which significantly reduces the moment of inertia and increases agility and lightness when changing direction.
The front-mounted brakes are two 330 mm Brembo discs with racing-derived pistons that include ventilation holes to increase the stability of the lever stroke.
The V4 SP also gets carbon heel guards on machined aluminum adjustable rider foot pegs.
The Streetfighter V4 S variant and the SP model share the same suspension parts. The new motorcycle uses the same Panigale V4 springs and hydraulics as the S variant. Fork spring preload has been reduced from just 11mm to 6mm.
