2023 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V

TVS has modified the 2023 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V to take on the Bajaj Pulsar N160, Suzuki Gixxer, and Hero Xtreme 160R. While the modifications don’t completely transform the bike, they undoubtedly increase the package’s overall value.

2023 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V: New color

The new paint job is the most apparent modification on the 2023 Apache RTR 160 4V. The new color, called “Pearl White,” is a matte white and bright red mix that appears on the wheels, a stripe on the fuel tank, and a dual-tone seat.

Apart from the new color scheme, the new Apache RTR 160 4V also gets a new exhaust. Although it has the same double-barrel appearance as before, the new unit is more streamlined. Also, it is 1kg lighter than the previous version and gets a tweaked exhaust note.

TVS Apache RTR 160 4V: Adjustable levers

Adjustable clutch and brake levers add to the value of the entire kit. These are a first for the segment and were offered earlier on the limited-edition RP variant.

Priced at Rs 1.30 lakh ( Ex-showroom price), the 2023 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition remains the same as the one introduced last year in matte black. However, this latter model gets the same improvements as the current one. TVS Apache RTR 160 4V on road price in India starts from ₹ 1,44,793 (On-road price in Delhi).

What remains unchanged?

The 159cc, single-cylinder engine powering the motorcycle continues to produce 17.4bhp and 14.7Nm. It is connected to a five-speed transmission. Other than that, the list of features is unchanged. Three riding modes, a full-LED headlamp with LED DRLs, and an instrument cluster with Bluetooth functionality are all included. Suspension and braking hardware remains the same.
