On social media, Kawasaki has suggested launching a brand new, limited edition bike for the RR line. The teaser image shows the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR. Kawasaki’s Ninja ZX-4R will now be the most expensive sub-500cc bike in India, with a starting price of ₹ 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The Japanese sports bike manufacturer revealed that the top-spec Ninja ZX-4RR is coming to India soon.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR: Specifications
The engine of the Ninja ZX-4RR is what sets it apart as a common sports bike and pushes it towards a supersport model. The Ninja ZX-4RR has a 399cc inline-four cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 37.6 Nm of torque at 12,000 rpm and 76 bhp at 14,000 rpm. However, the most unique stat is that this engine can reach 16,000 RPM – It’s amazing, and you can imagine the noise it makes. The engine has a six-speed gearbox equipped with a slipper clutch and a bi-directional quick shifter as standard.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR: Hardware
The ZX-4RR’s hardware consists of a steel trellis frame with a preload-adjustable Showa SFF-BP front fork and a gas-charged monoshock with preload, compression, and rebound adjustment. Two 290 mm disc brakes at the front and two 220 mm disc brakes at the rear handle the braking duties. The bike weighs 189 kg (kerb weight) on the scale.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR: Features
Regarding features, the supersport bike has two power modes, a three-stage traction control system, four riding modes (Rail, Sport, Road, and Rider), and all LED lights. Additionally, the bike has a 4.3-inch TFT instrument cluster used to change the settings of the above systems.
One of the main attractions of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR will be its looks. As its design matches with the ZX-25R, the ZX-4RR looks aggressive. Not to mention the KRT green color that will be hard to miss on our roads or racetracks, the ZX-4RR looks good thanks to its twin LED headlamps and the design of the fairings.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR: Price
Kawasaki India will import only a limited number of Ninja ZX-4RR into India, and some Kawasaki dealers have already started taking bookings. As for the price, the Ninja ZX-4RR price could be around 9.49 lakh, which is almost a lakh more than the Ninja ZX-4R. The price mentioned will be of Delhi, ex-showroom price.
