Royal Enfield’s 650cc lineup has been remarkably successful since its inception. So, the company has launched three different body styles in the range – Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, and Super Meteor 650. One of the upcoming products based on this platform, the Shotgun 650, is based on the SG650 concept shown at EICMA last year. Probably RE’s next big launch.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 – Most Stunning Royal Enfield 650

The Royal Enfield’s upcoming bike is rumored to be based on the SG 650 concept. This bobber-style motorcycle was a completely new design like the others. Even though the SG 650 was a bobber-style concept, production version test mules have been seen with a rear seat.

According to sources, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 will use the same platform as the one offered on the Super Meteor 650. The main frame of the RE, which is the latest model, is slightly different from the Interceptor and Continental GT. It looks similar to the one used on the Super Meteor 650 and is shown on the SG 650 concept.

The latest test mules have revealed that the longer wheelbase than the Super Meteor 650 also takes a similar direction. We can see a powerful-looking headlight clamp on the Scram 411. There is a round LED headlight with round indicators and tail lights.

The render of the Tripleline has a bubble effect on the small windscreen, which adds a lot of character. It has a USD telescopic front suspension setup and a twin shock absorber setup at the rear. The instrument cluster, switchgear, and other features will be shared with the Super Meteor 650.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650- Engine Remains the Same

Like the other three engines in the 650cc Royal Enfield models, it is possible to have a 648cc parallel twin engine. As seen with its 350cc lineup, Royal Enfield may tune this engine slightly for the Shotgun 650 to establish a unique character. This engine produces 47 bhp power and 52 Nm torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The frequency of spy shots has decreased, and the launch may occur in 2024.

As seen in the renders and recent spy shots, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is expected to ride on alloy wheels, with the wheel setup likely to be 19” or 18” at the front and 17” at the rear. These may also be machined wheels with a dual-tone effect. The tear-drop-shaped fuel tank, retro body panels, and vintage charm leave the audience spellbound. The engine bay has been kept black to give a feeling of sportiness.
