Revolt Motors’ new showrooms, products, background

Revolt Motors added 35 dealership outlets to its overall retail network in India last year. New showrooms opened in Hubli, Guwahati, and Indore on February 24, 2023.

The company’s flagship motorcycle, the RV400, houses a 3.24kWh lithium-ion battery that powers a 3kW (mid-drive) motor with a top speed of 85kph. Eco, Normal, and Sport are the three riding modes available on the RV400.

Revolt Motors started its business in August 2019 with the RV300 and RV400 electric motorcycles. Its manufacturing site is located in Manesar, Haryana, the hub of the automobile industry. Revolt Motors was fully acquired by Ratan India Enterprises, a division of the Ratan India Group, in October 2022.

The aggressive expansion plan, production ramp-up

The company has developed an aggressive network development strategy to add 100 new stores between April and June this year by setting up 150 showrooms in the next three months.

Anjali Ratan Nashier, Business Chairperson, Ratan India Enterprises, claims that the company is rapidly expanding its pan-India dealership network. In the next three months, we will open more than 150 dealerships across India. Increasing sales will also improve our after-sales interaction with service centers in these regions. Our factories have ramped up production, and customers can receive their Revolt motorcycles immediately.

Pankaj Sharma, a veteran of the Indian auto industry with extensive experience in strategy, sales, marketing, service, customer experience, dealer development, and digital transformation, was appointed the company’s Chief Business Officer earlier this month.
