Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: Details

The Shotgun 650 is one of the two futuristic models built on Royal Enfield’s preferred 650cc platform. The alloy wheels already seen in this exclusive bike have been seen during testing. The tripper navigation pod, a pair of auxiliary lights, miniature floors, and bar-end mirrors are also visible. Expect the Shotgun 650 to have the same assortment of optional equipment as every Royal Enfield motorcycle when it was first introduced.

The 648cc, Interceptor 650 is expected to produce 47hp and 52Nm of torque from the Shotgun 650 with a parallel-twin, air-and-oil-cooled engine and the Continental GT 650; This is likely to be carried forward without significant change in the output numbers. It differs from the 650 Twins as it gets a USD fork at the front of the bike instead of the more basic telescopic unit.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: price and launch

Considering Royal Enfield has been testing these vehicles for quite some time, we expect at least one new model to be released and built on the 650cc platform in the coming months. The business will probably introduce at least one new model at EICMA, which is only a month away. Given its higher-spec hardware, the Shotgun 650 will probably be priced higher than the 650 Twins when it starts selling.
