The bobber motorcycle genre is relatively new in India. The latest addition to the ‘Factory Custom’ lineup comes at the top of the Bobber range, the company said. Represents the brand’s dedication to providing riders with a synthesis of timeless design, advanced performance, and unparalleled comfort.

At the mainstream end of the spectrum, bobbers are niche. However, Jawa is taking advantage of this genre with its latest installment, the 42 Bobber Black Mirror.

Jawa Motorcycles has recently launched the latest version of Jawa 42 Bobber. The name of this variant is “Black Mirror,” and its price starts from Rs 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom price). Jawa 42 is now the most expensive variant of the Bobber model.

Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror Launched

CEO of Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles said, “With the successful launch of Jawa 42 Bobber last year, we further strengthened our dominance in the bobber segment. The Bobber has been retuned to give riders a smooth riding experience. The Bobber stable from our factory custom portfolio enjoys an intense following in the riding community in India. The kind of love we received for the 42 Bobber made us push our limits in design and engineering to introduce the all-new Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror.

What makes Bobbers unique is their careful attention to emotional shopping combined with the essence of individuality and exclusivity. The special attention to detail, coupled with the unique design language, makes it truly extraordinary.

The Latest Entrant In Java’s ‘Factory Custom’ Lineup

For the first time, alloy wheels with black mirrors have been provided in Jawa 42 Bobber. It offers tubeless tires and a worry-free ride. The company mentions that these diamond-cut alloy wheels are standard for the 42 Bobber Black Mirror variant and existing customers.

If we take bobber motorcycles as a mainstream segment in India, the 42 Bobber competes only with its stablemate Perak. Both motorcycles share their platform, powertrain, and other hardware but adopt different and unique design approaches. In this sense, the 42 Bobber is more neo-retro than the Perak.

Jawa 42 Bobber – Details

The 42 Bobber features a 334 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 29.9 bhp power and 32.7 Nm torque. It is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox. The Jawa bundles in a slip-and-assist clutch for smooth gear shifts and light clutch action. Jawa has also made changes to the engine and fuel map, resulting in lower idle speed. Java mentions that the idle speed of 1500 rpm is now reduced to 1350 rpm.
