Bajaj-Triumph Roadster Spotted On Test In India

For the first time, we spotted the Triumph-Bajaj Roadster and Scrambler bike testing around Pune. They are the two most eagerly awaited upcoming bikes in India. The instrument console of the bike was barely visible to us, and it looked semi-digital.

India-made Triumph roadster bike spotted on test in India. The joint Bajaj-Triumph roadster is expected to be launched by the end of this year. Bajaj Auto is ready to develop an entry-level Triumph Bonneville.

While the exact launch date is unknown, the entry-level Triumph Roadster, a product of the Bajaj-Triumph collaboration, appears to be on sale soon. Spy pictures of a Bajaj-Triumph roadster test drive on the streets of Pune have recently surfaced, revealing a few details that make it clear that the bike is almost ready for production. A saree guard and a unique headlamp bracket made for the front number plate – another Indian requirement – are distinctive and the result of compliance with Indian laws.

Bajaj-Triumph Roadster: What to expect?

Although, Engine displacement is still a matter of debate. As per various sources and information, the engine is likely to be around 400cc, and the roadster is likely to be an entry-level model in the Triumph Bonneville lineup

The upcoming Bajaj-Triumph Roadster will likely be powered by a 350–400cc liquid-cooled engine with a maximum power output of 35PS. The bike gets a USD fork and mono-shock suspension for its foundation. Disc brakes are available at both ends.

The earlier spy pictures show the bike gets a front radial caliper. Dual-channel ABS brakes will probably come standard on the roadster. Some earlier reports said the bike would debut in June or July, and the next Triumph Roadster is expected to go on sale later this year.

The first made-in-India Triumph vehicle manufactured by Bajaj Auto will be introduced as a 2024 model, and we expect that closer to October 2023. The Triumph Bonneville lineup is expected to see the release of the entry-level model, the Roadster and Scrambler.

The following motorcycle could arrive in India later this year, and we estimate it to be priced at around Rs.2.25 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with models like KTM 390 Duke, Zontes GK350, BMW G 310 R, and Honda CB300R.
