Moto Morini is working on its most awaited product, a 650cc cruiser bike. Going by the design patent, the new cruiser bike will join two models that now use the same 649cc parallel twin. This motorcycle will compete with the Royal Enfield Super Meteor.
Moto Morini 650cc Cruiser
As per the recently released design patent, the bike will be a wide cruiser with a low and relaxed posture, a scooped seat, a wide handlebar, and a round headlight with a small cowl surrounding it. More contemporary styling cues like the flyscreen and bar end mirrors have been added. The bulbous form of the fuel tank and the front fascia add to this leaked design’s visual bulk.
Moto Morini 650cc Cruiser – Engine
The Moto Morini 650cc Cruiser will have the same 649cc parallel-twin motor from CFMoto for the X-Cape 650 and the Seiemmezzo. The engine produces 54 Nm and 59.17 horsepower when tuned. It won’t come as a surprise if the cruiser is given a slightly different soundtrack to suit its needs. According to the design patents, the bike motor will be housed in a double cradle frame, supported by gated telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks.
We assume the cruiser will have ABS for rider aids, LED lighting, a TFT dash with all the necessary readouts, and other features.
650cc Moto Morini Cruiser – Launch Date
Typically, a design patent application is made just before production begins. Hence, it is argued that the bike’s production will commence soon. While the exact release date for the bike in India is unknown, it is speculated that it will compete with the other 650cc bikes such as Moto Morini Seiemmezzo, X-Cape, and the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650.
