1. Ather 450S
Ather will launch a 450S e-scooter in India; the tentative launch date could be August 15, 2023. It will be the most cost-effective option available from select electric scooter companies.
The new Ather 450S electric scooter will feature a smaller 3 kWh battery pack compared to the 3.7 kWh unit on the 450X, with a claimed range of 115 km per charge—a top speed of 90 kmph. Ola S1, TVS iQube S, Bajaj Chetak, and other electric scooters are expected to rival the Ather 450S once launched.
2. TVS Creon
TVS Motor Company unveiled its new product TVS Creon which is expected to launch on August 23, 2023. The upcoming electric scooter for the Indian market will be equipped. The features are start with the Li-Ion battery pack that produces 12 kWh of power. The company claimed 0-60 kmph acceleration of 5.1 seconds and a range of 80 km.
Additional features include a TFT color screen, cloud connectivity, anti-theft, regenerative braking, park assist, three riding modes, GPS and navigation, and geofencing.
3. Hero Karizma XMR 210
Hero MotoCorp will launch Hero Karizma XMR 210, a stylish sporty motorcycle with hi-tech features, which is expected to launch on 29 August 2023. Karizma XMR 210 is powered by a 210cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 25bhp of maximum power and 30Nm of peak torque. The Karizma XMR 210 features include a split seat and clip-on handlebar, offering a somewhat upright riding position. The expected price of Karizma XMR 210 is Rs. 2 lakhs (Ex-showroom Delhi).
4. Royal Enfield Bullet 350
The new generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is expected to be launched in India on 30 August. After the Meteor, Classic, and Hunter, the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will be the company’s fourth 350cc motorcycle on the J platform. Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is powered by a 349cc, single-cylinder, air-oil-cooled engine that produces 20.2 bhp of maximum power and 27 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission gearbox.
5. Honda SP160
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) is all set to launch a new 160cc motorcycle this festive season, based on the Honda Unicorn platform, which will be called the SP160. SP160 is powered by a 162.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that generates a max power of 13 bhp and 14 Nm of torque, which will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
