Triumph Scrambler 400 X India Launch in Mid-October

According to Triumph Motorcycles India, the new Scrambler 400 X will debut on our market in October 2023. The company lists this sub-500cc motorcycle along with the expected debut date on its Indian website.

We all know that the Indian division of the British manufacturer has first introduced the Speed 400 in our market for Rs. 2.23 Lakh, which is quite competitive. Therefore, we estimate that the Scrambler 400X will be priced equally high.

Triumph Scrambler 400 X: New updates

For a quick reminder, the new Scrambler 400 X features a side-slung exhaust, a circular headlight, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and a curved fuel tank with knee recesses.

The wheels of this off-road motorcycle are 19 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear. The Scrambler 400X is available in three paint schemes: Carnival Red with Phantom Black, Phantom Black with Silver Ice, and Matte Khaki Green with Fusion White.

Triumph Scrambler 400 X: Engine and Features

The new Triumph Scrambler 400 X has a 398.15cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with a dual-overhead-camshaft and four valves, which is similar to the Speed 400. This engine produces 39.5bhp of maximum output at 8,000 rpm and 37.5Nm of maximum torque at 6,500 rpm when connected to a six-speed gearbox.

Next, the features list includes:

  • A standard anti-theft immobilizer.
  • Dual-channel ABS.
  • Ride-by-wire throttle.
  • Switchable traction control.
  • Full LED illumination.
  • A semi-digital instrument cluster.

Notably, the Scrambler 400X’s dual-channel ABS is a switchable component. The pre-bookings open for the new Triumph Scrambler 400X on the Indian website.
