When Triumph launched the Speed 400, it also unveiled the Scrambler 400X. After getting the response from Speed 400, Triumph Bikes finally launched the Scrambler 400X. Triumph has launched the Scrambler 400X in India for Rs 2.63 lakh (ex-showroom).
Interested buyers can book the Scrambler 400X through Triumph’s official Indian website for a token amount of Rs 10,000. The bike will be sold exclusively through Triumph World showrooms, expanding to over 100 centers nationwide by April 2024.
Triumph Scrambler 400X: Engine
The Triumph Scrambler 400X single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 399cc engine generates 39.5bhp of maximum power and 37.5Nm of torque. The engine of the Scrambler 400X is mated to a six-speed gearbox and benefits from a slipper and assist clutch.
Triumph Scrambler 400X: Features
The Triumph Scrambler 400X features a USB-C charging port, an assist clutch, and a semi-digital instrument cluster. Apart from this, there is also switchable traction control, full-LED lighting, and ride-by-wire technology.
The instrument cluster includes a digital analog screen that displays information such as a digital tachometer, fuel gauge meter, gear position indicator, trip data, and more. Additionally, the Triumph Scrambler 400X comes with over 25 accessories that cater to various aspects ranging from comfort and style to luggage and safety.
Triumph Scrambler 400X: Chassis
One big difference between the Scrambler 400X compared to the Speed 400 is the hardware. The Scrambler rides on a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear unit, both wrapped in dual-purpose tires. Suspension hardware includes USD front forks and mono-shock, and brakes consist of a 320 mm front and 230 mm rear disc.
Triumph Scrambler 400X: Price and Rivals
Triumph Scrambler 400X prices start at Rs 2.63 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). In comparison, the initial launch price of Triumph Speed 400 was Rs 2.33 lakh.
The top rivals of the Scrambler 400X are the Harley Davidson X440, KTM 390 Adventure, Royal Enfield Scram 411, Kawasaki Ninja 400, and Yezdi Scrambler.
