The 800MT, CFMoto’s latest adventure bike, has been introduced in the UK. It costs GBP 10,399 (approximately Rs 9.93 lakh excluding taxes). The 800MT competes with other ADVs in the market, such as the Triumph Tiger 850 Sport and the BMW F 900 XR.

The 800MT’s flat, tiger-like grille gives the impression that it is overpowered. Although a bit more contemporary, the LED headlights recall the set of Triumph Tiger. There is a clear windscreen above it, and the fairing is protected. CFMoto will sell the 800MT in two variants: sports and touring. The latter is GBP 11,099 in retail (approximately Rs 10.60 lakh without taxes).
With so many different best 800cc bikes on the market, it can be difficult to decide which one is right for you.
800MT Engine
The 799cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled motor in both variants has the same design and produces 95 horsepower and 77 Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed transmission and includes a bi-directional quick shifter (exclusive to the top-end model).
The bike is equipped with fully adjustable KYB USD front forks and a movable mono-shock. The braking system, consisting of twin 320 mm front discs and 260 mm rear discs with multi-channel ABS, is manufactured by Jay Juan. While the Touring trim gets spoke wheels, the base model runs on alloy wheels.
Although CFMoto sells its middleweight sports touring motorcycles in India, the 800MT is not coming very soon.
