Kinetic Green has redesigned the Luna name, and this time, the moped is back as an electric vehicle. These are the features of Kinetic Green’s latest electric vehicle, known as e-Luna. Kinetic Green is offering its electric moped in two variants: the E-Luna X1 and the E-Luna X2.
Design
The petrol version serves as the design basis for the new Kinetic e-Luna. As a result, the same concise, simple construction is evident. It looks functional, with a storage area close to the floorboard, a split seat arrangement, and a single-piece headlight.
Features
As one might assume, the e-Luna has very few features. The Luna EV, on the other hand, has a simple digital instrument cluster, a lever lock, a detachable rear seat, a USB charging port, and bag locks. The e-Luna’s small feature list and utility-focused apps help maintain the device’s affordable price.
Motor and Battery
The 2 kW battery pack supports the 1.2 kW mid-mounted motor that powers the e-Luna. Its top speed is said to be 50 km per hour, and its range is said to be 110 km. The engine is capable of producing up to 22 Nm of peak torque. According to the brand, the e-Luna battery can be fully charged in about four hours using the portable charger included with the device.
Hardware
Twin shock absorbers suspend its tubular frame at the rear and a telescopic fork at the front, which are part of the bike. The 16-inch spoke wheels of the e-Luna are equipped with drum brakes at both ends. Weighing just 96 kg, Kinetic Green says it can support up to 150 kg of weight. Its length is 1985 mm, width is 735 mm, and height is 1036 mm. It has valuable accessories, including a bag hook, safety lock, saree guard, and front leg protection.
Price and Colors
The new Kinetic e-Luna is available in three colors – red, yellow, black, blue, and green – and is priced at Rs. Rs 69,990 (ex-showroom).
For a small fee of Rs 500, interested buyers can book the Kinetic e-Luna. Deliveries are scheduled to begin next month. Additionally, the moped can be purchased on renowned online retailers like Amazon and Flipkart.

The competitors of Kinetic e-Luna are Ola S1 Pro, Ather 450X, Hero Electric Atria, and Bajaj Chetak.
