The latest teaser from Honda clarifies that the next 350cc motorcycle will take on the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
Honda has once again hinted at its future 350cc bike. This time around, the company shared a video with the tagline “The Formidable” and the words “Fears Design,” “Fast Acceleration,” “Furious Attitude,” and “Fearless Performance.” All these phrases with aggressive connotations suggest the possibility of a road-oriented vehicle similar to the Triumph Speed Twin 900.
2022 Honda 350cc: New Bike
Considering that Honda will release the bike a day after the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, Honda is expected to introduce a model that is on par with the adjacent Royal Enfield motorcycle. Expect a slightly more contemporary design than the H’Ness CB350, with the 2000s feeling more old-school than the 80s.
To cut costs, Honda may use fiber-reinforced plastic for the body panels and a halogen headlight. Honda could potentially offer a less complex instrument panel without Bluetooth connectivity.
Features and Specifications
While the 349cc counterbalanced, air-cooled engine with 21PS and 30Nm will probably stay the same; we would love it if Honda tunes the gearing for more bottom-end power. Smaller 17-inch wheels can be used for the bike, and you can adjust the suspension accordingly. These modifications can make the bike lighter than the H’Ness, translating to much faster performance in the real world.
Additionally, the tires can be slightly thinner than those of the CB350 twins, resulting in lower rolling resistance and higher fuel efficiency.
