2023 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: Variants and Price
Hero MotoCorp launched the Xtreme 160R 4V in 3 variants – Standard, Connected and Pro. The Xtreme 160R 4V price starts from Rs 1,27,300 for the Standard variant, Rs 132,800 for the Connected variant, and Rs 136,500 for the Pro variant. It will compete with similar segment bikes of TVS and Bajaj. The bookings started on June 15, and deliveries will begin in the second week of July. Hero offers Xtreme 160R 4V in 3 color options: Matte Slate Black, Neon Night Star and Blazing Sports Red.
2023 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: New Updated Engine
The Hero Xtreme 160R 4V received the most significant update in 2023 as an updated engine. The bike now gets a four-valve head compared to the previous model’s two-valve head. This update resulted in adding the letter 4V to the bike name. The oil-cooled engine’s performance and top-end will directly benefit from this. The maximum output of the new 163 cc engine is 16.6 horsepower at 8,500 rpm. There is a five-speed gearbox in the bike. The Hero bikes company claims it is India’s lightest oil-cooled and fastest 160cc motorcycle.
Another new update is the upside-down front forks. The Xtreme 160R, as of now, comes equipped with standard telescopic forks. The new USD forks will improve ride quality and stability during turns and provide additional input. The rear shock absorber, which includes pre-load adjustment, remains unchanged.
2023 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: New Features
Hero Xtreme 160R 4V features a 276 mm petal disc at the front and two options, 220 mm or 130 mm drum brake at the rear. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels in 100/80 tubeless front tyre and 130/70 tubeless rear tyre.
The new Hero Xtreme 160R 4V gets a new, sharper LED headlight with an integrated LED daytime running light. A tail section has been added to the motorcycle with a contoured, large fuel tank and ergonomic split seats. A new digital instrument cluster adds to the premium features. According to Hero MotoCorp, the motorcycle has over 25 telematics functions.
