Ducati’s iconic luxury motorcycle brand took the streets by storm earlier this year with a dual announcement. Ducati has announced its plans to launch four new motorcycles in India in 2023. The upcoming models of Ducati are the Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer, Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0, and Ducati Monster 1200. Ducati has taken the motorcycling world by storm with the launch of the luxurious Diavel V4. Welcome to India’s brand ambassador, Ranveer Singh, the leading heartthrob of the dynamic Indian film industry.

Ducati Diavel V4: Engine

The all-new launch draws its power from the Ducati 1158cc, V4 Gran Turismo engine that produces 168bhp of max power and 126Nm of torque. The road-going motorcycle houses a 20-litre steel fuel tank for long-distance travel.

Its monocoque aluminum frame guarantees structural reliability and dynamic agility. The previous generation model, the L-twin, was powered by the Testastrata mill. 

Ducati Diavel V4: Electronic Package

The Ducati Diavel V4 electronics package includes a 6-axis inertial measurement unit (6D IMU). Additional features include ABS Cornering, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), Ducati Traction Control (DTC), and Ducati Power Launch. Industry pinnacle Ducati Quick Shift Up/Down (DQS) and Cruise Control.

Ducati Diavel V4: Chassis

Ducati V4 handling is optimized by the sleek Diablo Rosso III rear tyre size 240/45. The braking system includes double 330 mm discs at the front and Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers. Its performance is fine-tuned with 50mm fully adjustable forks and a mono-shock absorber that offers complete customization.

Ducati Diavel V4: Features

The Ducati Diavel V4 features a DRL headlight, which enhances visibility and style, and a multi-point LED rear light unit under the tail. The bike also gets a turn-by-turn navigation system, a 5-inch TFT with Bluetooth integration that you can monitor with the Ducati Link app.

Additionally, the V4 offers 3 power modes and 4 riding modes, which cater to different preferences and road conditions. The bike is offered in two color options, Ducati Red and Thrilling Black.

Ducati Diavel V4: Price and Rivals

Ducati Diavel V4 price in India starts from Rs 25,91,000. It directly competes with the Kawasaki Z H2, Harley-Davidson Fat Boy, BMW S 1000 RR, Aprilia RSV4, and Suzuki Hayabusa.
