Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) recently released two short teaser videos on its social media handles. It is difficult to say about the upcoming ADV, whether it is a bike or a scooter. After the first teaser, Honda Motorcycles released a second teaser, and it has shaken things up a bit for us. Honda is preparing to update its powerful scooter X-ADV in the international market very soon. The Japanese scooter will get design and feature changes for its latest generation.

Even the exhaust note in the teaser sounds exactly like the 160cc adventure scooter. The teaser hints at the same vs. Excited. It isn’t easy to know whether the new two-wheeler will be an ADV or a scooter.

New Honda X ADV 2023

Honda to modify X-ADV with new headlight setup. The updated model will have a new unit, which will be mounted comparatively lower than the existing model. This will also allow Honda to install a three-piece headlight and include a pair of cornering lights for added convenience.

The upcoming Honda X-Ad is powered by a 745cc parallel twin motor that produces outputs of 58.6bhp and 67Nm. The X-ADV runs on USD front forks and a monoshock. Braking hardware includes dual front and single rear discs mounted on 17-inch alloys.

If this is indeed the ADV 160, it will be Honda’s first exciting launch in more than two years after the launch of the CB500X in 2021. Is the Honda finally bringing back a vehicle that will please us enthusiasts? only time will tell.

However, we can say that if Honda brings the ADV 160, India will finally get its first adventure scooter. When considering the price, don’t expect this to be a cheap offering, and we believe it could go up to Rs 1.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
