Hero MotoCorp has partnered with Harley-Davidson. They are planning new platforms related to development and sharing. While people have seen Hero with Harley, now it looks like a collaboration between TVS and BMW. As people show the craze for Harley, like the latest launch of the X440, it is like after Harley’s X440, Hero is looking to launch its version based on the same platform.
Hero has shared information with the people about the upcoming motorcycle. It will be beneficial for them to get additional information about the bike. New documents for Hero MotoCorp’s latest trademark have been leaked online. During testing, two test bikes of Hero were seen with new names, Hurricane and Hurricane 440.
One looks like Hero’s XPulse model, similar to the XPulse 210, while the other looks significantly larger and could bear the Huracan 440 tag. However, Hero may also file a trademark to reserve the name for use on other bikes in the future.

As per the current records, the 440 word mark appears as Approved and Advertised. It indicates that the trademark name is close to being approved. Hopefully, the 440 won’t run into potential legal entanglements, as was seen with the X440 with a protest by Ultraviolette Automotive.
It is a different name among the motorcycles of Hero Motocorp till now. ‘Hurikan’ sounds like a good name for Hero’s new flagship bike. There is a certain degree of familiarity with the Lamborghini Huracan. But this is unlikely to have any impact on the prospects of the bike. ‘Hurikan’ is the Spanish equivalent of a hurricane, which can also be for a hurricane.
As Hurican seems to be a relevant name globally, Hero may pursue export opportunities with this bike.

That said, the engine can be modified to suit the needs of a naked streetfighter. As for the Hurikan engine specs, the Harley-Davidson X440 is powered by a 440cc, single-cylinder, air-oil cooled, long-stroke engine. It generates a maximum power of 27 bhp and a peak torque of 38 Nm.
The bike has different engine positions; the 440 is also expected to have a shorter exhaust note. Hero 440 will have USD forks at the front and a mono-shock unit at the rear.

Hero Hurikan will have USD forks at the front and a mono-shock unit at the rear. The rear suspension may have adjustable options. The vehicle has a 320 mm front and 240 mm rear disc brakes.
Apart from the fact that dual-channel ABS will be standard, users can also expect a range of advanced technology and connectivity features. The Hurikan 440 is expected to be launched in 2024.

The upcoming bike Hurikan will compete with the Bajaj Dominar 400, KTM 390 Duke, BMW G310R, and the recently launched TVS Apache RTR 310.
