BMW started deliveries of its most expensive motorcycle in India, the M 1000 RR. The price of the standard model is Rs 49,00,000, and the competition edition is Rs 55,00,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

According to luxury bike manufacturer BMW, the delivery of its most expensive bike, the M 1000 RR, has finally started in India. It was launched in June this year with a starting price of Rs 49.00 lakh. On the other hand, the top-tier M 1000 RR Competition model was unveiled, which is priced at Rs 55.00 lakh. All prices listed are ex-showroom and may vary depending on locations and states.
Since its release in the Indian market, critics and consumers have received favorable responses. The target market could pre-book the sports bike from authorized dealerships or through the official website soon after the company launched it and started accepting formal bookings.

BMW M 1000 RR: Style and Look
The recently released BMW M 1000 RR boasts a strong design statement and an attractive presence on the road. A hint of carbon fiber is included, mainly covering the fairing. It also features newly designed, aero-optimized winglets, giving the machine even more downforce than before.

The bike has a 320mm disc brake at the front and a single 220mm unit at the rear with dual-channel ABS. The wheels are either forged or M carbon. In-depth technical details reveal that the M 1000 RR has USD front forks and a mono-shock with preload adjustment at the rear.
The performance-focused bike that will compete in the Indian MotoGP this year features an inline 4-cylinder, 999 cc engine. The maximum power output of the unit is 113 Nm at 11,000 rpm and 209 bhp at 14,500 rpm, which is absurd for Indian roads. The bike’s top speed is 314 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds.

In India, competitors of the BMW M 1000 RR are the Kawasaki Ninja H2, Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory, Honda CBR1000RR-R, and Ducati Panigale V4.
