Ahead of its global debut in Europe, Husqvarna Bikes has released another teaser for the upcoming Svartpilen 901. The KTM 890 Duke platform will serve as the foundation for the Scrambler, which is expected to debut in Europe in March 2024.

Presented on Husqvarna’s official Instagram account, the latest teaser video provides an overview of the styling of the Svartpilen 901.
The scrambler bike is hidden in the teaser, but features like the upswept exhaust, streamlined tail section, and circular LED headlamps are easily noticeable. It is also known that the motorcycle will be equipped with dual-purpose tires and five-spoke alloy wheels.
2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 901: Engine and Specs
The Husqvarna Svartpilen 901 has the same 889cc parallel-twin engine mounted in the Norden 901 and KTM 890 Duke R. In the 890 Duke R, this engine produces 99 Nm at 7,750 rpm and 121 horsepower at 9,250 rpm. It will be equipped with standard assist and slipper clutch and mated to a six-speed gearbox.
The 17-inch alloy wheels with dual-purpose rubber on the Svartpilen 901 are designed for dirty rides. The Husqvarna Svartpilen 901 will face competition from the Yamaha XSR 900, Kawasaki Z900RS, Ducati Scrambler, and the KTM 890 Duke R in the international markets.
It’s pretty unlikely that the Husqvarna Svartpilen 901 will come to India, considering that it is scheduled to be released overseas in March 2024, as previously reported. KTM does not sell any of its large-capacity motorcycles, like the 890 Duke R, in India.
