New Hero Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 – Top Highlights

The 2.0 edition of the Splendour Plus Xtec was just released in India by Hero MotoCorp. As a reliable bike, the Splendour has become a household name in the commuter market and is well-known across the country. These are the main features of its most recent trim, which includes a few improvements.

FEATURES

The Hero Splendour Plus Xtec’s latest version features a segment-first LED headlamp while keeping its recognizable rectangular design. The headlight unit has an integrated H-shaped LED DRL. The bike also has an H-shaped tail light, and it now has danger light functions. It still has the full LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity for standard readouts, including side-stand and real-time mileage indicators, as well as call and SMS notifications.

ENGINE

This updated Hero bike in India has a 100cc single-cylinder engine producing 7.09 horsepower and 8.05 Nm. The engine has a four-speed gearbox and is long known for being rather fuel-efficient. The Splendour is an excellent option for daily commuting because of its affordable performance and overall low maintenance requirements.

HARDWARE

The Hero Splendour Plus Xtec 2.0’s foundations are the same. It has twin shock absorbers with a five-step preload adjustment and a telescopic fork. The two 18-inch wheels have 80-section tubeless tyres mounted on them. A combined braking system with 130mm drum brakes on both ends is used for braking. The Splendour has a robust 165mm of ground clearance. The Splendor’s kerb weight of 112 kg makes it lightweight and easy to maneuver in confined areas.

DESIGN

While the Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0’s overall style is largely unchanged, its headlight has undergone a modest modification. If you look closely, you can see that the LED DRL incorporated above the headlight, which was present in the previous model, has been removed, and the headlamp assembly is now entirely LED. Additionally, the bike has updated visuals that give it a much-needed update.

PRICE

Priced at ₹ 82,911, the Hero Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 is being offered at just ₹ 3,000 more than its previous version. Gloss Black, Gloss Red, and Matte Grey are the three available colors.
