If you call yourself a bike enthusiast, remember the Karizma moniker of yesteryear. Hero MotoCorp is returning with the Karizma, which was once hugely popular for its sporty profile and powerful performance. Hero has been releasing mini teasers to generate hype, and the latest one could be the deciding moment for the launch of the upcoming bike, Hero Karizma XMR 210 on August 29.

Hero Karizma XMR: What Does The Teaser Reveal?

New Karizma XMR has already been spied testing. It has been spotted in patent images and revealed to dealer partners at an event, so we have a fair idea of what to expect from the upcoming Karizma XMR. The teaser image confirms that the new Karizma will have a sharper-looking fairing and a bigger windscreen, and the mirrors will be mounted on the fairing itself instead of the handlebar like Hero’s other faired bike, the Xtreme 200S.

Other details that can be seen are:

  • The split-seat arrangement.
  • A muscular fuel tank.
  • A clip-on handlebar.
  • The tail section shows ducts under the rear seat.

Hero Karizma XMR Engine, Specs

According to industry insiders, the Hero Karizma XMR will aim for best-in-class performance, or somewhere close to there is a possibility that. The Karizma XMR is powered by a 210cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that generates around 25 PS and 25 Nm. It is expected that the sports bike will be equipped with a 6-speed gearbox.

According to sources, the advanced feature of the new upcoming Karizma XMR is that it will be equipped with Bluetooth-based connectivity features and will be made available through the Hero Connect platform. Hero has designed an app for Bluetooth connectivity, the Hero Connect app. You can connect products like XPulse 200, Xtreme 160R, Destini 125, and Pleasure Plus through the Hero Connect app connectivity features including toppling alert, tow away alert, geo-fence alert and speed alert, live vehicle tracking, and last parked location.

Hero Karizma XMR Expected Price and Rivals

The all-new Karimza is expected to arrive in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 1.5 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the company has not yet shared official details about it. Once launched, it will compete with the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.
