TVS Motors has updated its portfolio with a new premium commuter motorcycle, the TVS Raider 125. This new model from the House-based two-wheeler manufacturer competes with the Bajaj Pulsar NS 125 and Honda SP 125 in the Indian market.
TVS Raider is a commuter motorcycle that has been dominating the market since its launch. The design of the Raider 125 is sporty and modern, making it attractive on the roads. TVS Raider 125 is powered by a 124.8cc BS6 engine, which produces 11.2 bhp power and 11.2 Nm torque, and has a 10-liter fuel tank. TVS Motor offers the new Raider in four variants – Raider 125 Single Seat – Disc, Raider 125 Disc, Raider 125 Super Squad Edition and Raider 125 SmartConnect. The TVS Raider 125 styling cues for the modern design include body-colored front fenders, a split-style saddle, an engine cowl, LED headlights, and body-colored headlight cowls. Raider 125 standard features across both variants of the motorcycle include an LED taillight, a five-inch digital display, under-seat storage, LED headlights, a stop-start system, and two ride modes (Eco and Power).
The connected variant benefits from a color TFT display, Bluetooth system, and voice assist function that works with the TVS SmartXConnect system. The connected variant gets additional features like navigation, voice assistance, incoming calls, and message notifications.
