KTM RC390, a 2022 new sports bike, is now available in India at 3.14 Lakh
The 2022 KTM RC 390 sports bike is now available for Rs 3.14 lakh in India. The bike has a bigger frame, fuel tank, technology, and advanced modifications.
KTM has unveiled its most awaited mid-weight sports bike in India. The 2022 KTM RC 390 bike is now officially available in India with an ex-showroom price of Rs 3.14 lakh. RC 390 is a sports bike and comes to up to 500cc. The new model is designed with advanced technology and has more new features than the previous model.
2022 KTM RC 390 Design & Features
The new RC 390 gets bigger, better, and has a new sporty look. The design is similar to the RC 390 crossover. From the front, it looks like the new KTM RC 200, which was recently launched in India. The headlamps remain the same, and the overall body shape is bigger and wider. The fuel tank has been increased to 13.7 liters, and the seat has been redesigned to make it more comfortable. For a comfortable city ride, clip-on handlebars come with 10mm risers.
The instrument cluster gets Bluetooth connectivity and a new TFT display with important rider assistance information. The bike also gets advanced traction control, cornering ABS, USD forks and quick-shift assist features.
Engine and Specifications
The KTM RC 390 is powered by a 373.27cc liquid-cooled BS6 engine that generates 42 bhp power and 37 Nm torque. The 6-speed manual transmission features a new slipper-assist modification for a smooth redline upshift. KTM has also made some changes to the air filter box, which is now 40% bigger than the previous model. This results in more efficiency and a more linear power supply.
Suspension configuration includes WP Apex USD forks at the front and WP Apex single mono-shock at the rear. The arrangement is fully configurable, which allows the rider to make changes according to their needs. The bike also gets LED lights, which will ensure more safety.
2022 KTM RC 390 Rivals
The TVS Apache RR 310 and the recently introduced Kawasaki Ninja 300 mid-weight sports motorcycle will be the prime rivals of the KTM RC 390.
