The LFC700 comes in two variants: standard and fat rear tyre, and it sports an inline four-cylinder engine and a fat rear tyre. Zhejiang Changling Binjiang Motorcycle Co., Ltd., located in Hangzhou, produces a variety of small displacement scooters and motorcycles with displacements ranging from 400cc to two cylinders under the Benda Motor Group brand.
Benda LFC700 Cruiser
The Benda LFC700 is the first four-cylinder bike from the brand and is powered by a 680cc inline four-cylinder engine. The engine’s maximum output is 86 horsepower at 10,000 rpm and 60 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm for the base model and 91 bhp at 11,000 rpm, and 63 Nm of peak torque at 8,500 rpm for the higher-powered variant. It travels through a 6-speed transmission and is directed to the rear tyre.
In keeping with the cruiser roots, the higher-powered variant also gets a slip-and-assist clutch. The upcoming bike gets a more significant 310mm, 18-inch rear tyre, 20-liter fuel tank, and a low 695mm seat height. The kerb weight is 235 kg with 19-inch wheels and 130 mm tyres. The top speed of the base variant is 170 km/h, while the top is 195 km/h.
The production model, like the prototype, features a circular LED headlamp in the shape of a turbine and a full-color TFT display. A distinguishing feature is the under-belly exhaust, which consists of four square-shaped tailpipes directly in front of the rear wheel, yet leads the exhaust gases to the side. Inverted front forks are a feature of both the base and high-power models, although the base model has internal forks, and the high-power model has KYB forks.
The base and high-powered varieties of the instrument differ in other regions as well. Although both versions get dual-channel ABS, the top-spec high-powered variant gets Brembo brakes while the base variant gets Nissin brakes. In China, prices start from around CNY 48,500. (Rs 5.57 lakh approx).
Benda LFS700
The same powertrain that powers the LFC 700 also powers the Benda LFS 700, which is positioned as a sporty roadster/flat-tracker hybrid and looks similar to the Indian FTR. However, the motor has been tweaked to produce only 75PS while the torque output has been increased to 65Nm. However, it weighs 226 kg less than the LFC 700. It features two flat, dual exhaust pipes that are hidden by a tail panel that resembles a racing license plate.
Although, MotoVault has yet to make plans to introduce these two extreme benders in India; Instead, they will only showcase them at the Auto Expo 2023 to see how potential customers respond.
