Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide, CVO Street Glide

The 1,982cc engine of CVO Road Glide and CVO Street Glide is bigger in capacity.

The CVO is the latest bike in the Harley-Davidson line-up to get a revamp, which the company has been busy doing. After carefully examining the large number of photos posted online of the CVO Road Glide and CVO Street Glide, it makes sense.

Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide and CVO Street Glide: Details

The spy photos reveal some key facts about the 2023 CVO Road Glide and CVO Street Glide. Start by looking at the wider and sharper-looking fairing of the CVO Road Glide, which hides a sizable LED headlamp housed within the DRLs. Unlike the previous bike, which had externally mounted indicator stalks, on this one, the turn indicators are built into the fairing and flank the headlight.

A large windscreen at the top of the fairing should be electronically steerable. The design of the lower fairing has also been changed. It blends with the huge fairing on top and has a sharper appearance than the 2022 bike component.

The batting fairing on the 2023 Harley Davidson CVO Street Glide has a similar backstory. It has a more contemporary appearance with crisp, clean lines and a new LED headlight flanked by U-shaped LED DRLs. However, the LED strips on either side of the headlight look different. It served as both turn indicators and stopped lights, as indicated by the absence of indicator stalks next to the fairing.

Besides the design, both bikes get all-new, sleeker wheels, especially on the road glide. Nevertheless, creating the USD fork suspension should be the main topic of conversation. This should increase front-end stability and response compared to the telescopic fork on previous versions. It is also possible that the bike’s rear suspension has been modified. Radial-mounted Brembo calipers have been used in the bike for brakes.

Last but not least, the engine cover on the Road Glide reveals that it is powered by a 1982cc Milwaukee Eight engine that displaces 121 cubic inches or less, as opposed to the 117 cubic inch version on earlier bikes.

It is assumed that the 2023 Harley Davidson CVO Road Glide and CVO Street Glide will soon be available for sale in the US, and the bikes could arrive on Indian shores in the coming months.
