In addition to the three variants already available, the Activa 125 now has a fourth option called the H-Smart. Honda Motorcycles is continuously improving its vehicles to comply with the new BS6 Stage II emission norms that will come into effect from April 1, 2023. The Activa 125 is the latest model to get the update; Now, it has a new H-Smart variant similar to the more compact (but incredibly popular) Activa 6G.
The base drum variant of the Honda Activa 125 price Rs 78,920, and the H-Smart variant costs Rs 88,903.
2023 Honda Activa 125: New Update
As we mentioned, the Activa 125 now gets a new, top-of-the-line H-Smart variant that adds a key fob and gives you access to a wider range of capabilities. The distance to the empty indicator and eco indicator, which illuminates when traveling eco-friendly, are now displayed on the dash’s digital inset. Honda also includes a convenient front compartment to store your trinkets on the redesigned Activa 125.
The air-cooled, 124cc, single-cylinder engine powering the Activa 125 is yet to receive official output numbers from Honda, but they shouldn’t detract from the old values for the BS6 model, which were 8.3hp and 10.3Nm.
The three variants, Drum (Rs 78,920), Drum Alloy (Rs 82,588), and Disc (Rs 86,903), that were available for purchase earlier have now increased in price by Rs 1,177. At Rs 88,903, the top-tier H-Smart model is Rs 2,000, more expensive than the Disc variant.
The Honda Activa 125 gets new auto-choke functionality in the engine, a silent start system, LED headlights, and DRLs. This is similar to what we saw in the new Honda Shine 100.
2023 Honda Activa 125 price and rivals
The Honda Activa 125 faces stiff competition from domestic and Japanese manufacturers in the 125cc scooter market. The Activa 125 rivals the likes of Suzuki Access 125, TVS Jupiter 125, Yamaha Fascino 125, and Hero Destini 125 here. With its new H-Smart model, the Activa 125, which is at the more affordable end of the scale here, should outperform its rivals.
