When styling the X-440, Harley-Davidson’s designers looked to its past. Visually, it is very similar to the Buell-designed XR1200X. It has a box-like fuel tank, well-sculpted side panels and a small, one-piece rear. Harley has added circular headlamps, taillamps, and a square tail lamp with LED lighting to give a retro-styling touch. However, the attention to detail is what sets it apart. The Harley-Davidson logo is inside the headlight, which houses lights similar to an electric livewire.
