Triumph’s smallest bike, which has been making headlines lately, has got us excited. The Triumph Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400X look premium, attractive, and promising on paper. But now that Triumph India has listed both bikes, a closer inspection of the specification sheets of the India-spec and international-spec bikes reveals a significant difference.
Triumph says that Bajaj will introduce the new 400 twins in India, Thailand, and Brazil. According to Triumph, the new 400 models will be aimed at younger riders looking for a change from smaller capacity vehicles.

The bike will get in India with new add-ons to meet regulations. Triumph has sold over one million units globally since the brand’s relaunch in 1990. Triumph’s 400cc Bikes: International vs Indian spec
Co-developed with Bajaj Auto, the styling of both motorcycles is derived from Triumph’s Speed Twin and Scrambler motorcycle range, which is all set for launch after the global debut late last month. The Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X models are based on a new platform powered by new liquid-cooled single-cylinder engines and share the same frame.
The Triumph Speed 400 is priced at Rs 2.33 lakh, which beats its rivals like the KTM 390 Duke, BMW G 310 R, and the RE Interceptor 650.
The Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X bikes have a two-year/unlimited mileage warranty and 16,000 km service interval.
