The Harley-Davidson X440, a co-developed premium motorcycle by Hero MotoCorp and the maker of motorcycles and scooters, will begin shipping on the first day of the Navratri festival, which appears on October 15, 2023.
Hero MotoCorp Garden Factory, a manufacturing plant in Neemrana in the northern Indian state of Rajasthan, is now producing the Harley-Davidson X440. Starting September 1, 2023, the company is offering test rides to consumers who booked motorcycles in advance.

The Harley-Davidson X440 is a cruiser bike that has a 440cc BS6 engine. The 440cc engine is capable of producing 27 horsepower and 38 Nm of torque. X440 is equipped with anti-locking brakes and front and rear disc brakes. The weight of the bike with a 13.5-litre petrol tank is 190.5 kg.
Harley Davidson X440 bookings to commence again
When the booking window opens on October 16, prospective customers will be able to reserve the new Harley-Davidson X440 at any Harley-Davidson dealership or select Hero MotoCorp locations across the country. Customers can also choose to book online by visiting site Harley-Davidsonx440.com.
The Hero MotoCorp CEO, Niranjan Gupta, stated: “The Harley-Davidson X440 continues to generate excitement across the nation. Many of our pre-booked customers have taken advantage of the opportunity to test the motorcycle even though production is in full gear at our Neemrana site.
We are all set to spread the holiday cheer by commencing deliveries of Harley Davidson X440s to our customers on the first day of Navratri.
The company said that there have been over 25,000 bookings for the Harley-Davidson X440 since its launch in July 2023. Hero MotoCorp had earlier temporarily stopped online reservations to serve customers. The motorcycle is offered in three variants: Denim, Vivid, and S, each priced at Rs 2,39,500, Rs 2,59,500, and Rs 2,79,500, respectively.
