The 2024 FZ-X line has been introduced in India by Yamaha India. The classic Japanese product will get two new paint jobs by 2024: Chrome and Matte Titan. Yamaha will sell the FZ-X only in Matte Titan, Dark Metallic Blue, and Matte Copper finishes. The chrome trim will be available from February.
2024 Yamaha FZ-X: Engine and Specs
The new Yamaha FZ-X has a 149cc single-cylinder engine that produces 13.3 Nm and 12.23 horsepower and is mated to a five-speed gearbox. The 2024 FZ-X has a round headlight with LED DRLs around the rim, and its design remains unchanged.
Full LED lighting, an LCD with smartphone connectivity, a USB port, traction control, and a side stand sensor are all included in the feature list. The FZ-X has a seven-stage adjustable mono-shock and 41 mm telescopic front forks. Its brakes include 220 mm rear disc and 282 mm front disc. These are mounted on 17-inch wheels; the front tyre is 100/80, and the rear tyre is 140/60.
The new FZ-X is available in three colors – Matte Copper, Matte Black, and a new Navy Blue color with golden wheels.
2024 Yamaha FZ-X: Price
Matte Black and Copper variants of Yamaha FZ X are estimated at Rs 1,37,087. In contrast, the FZ X Dark Matte Blue variant is available at Rs 1,38,089 (ex-showroom price). The rivals of FZ X are Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha FZ S FI, Suzuki Gixxer SF, Yamaha FZS Fi V4, and TVS Apache RTR 180.
Apart from the FZ-X, Yamaha India has introduced colors and other improvements to the YZF R15 and FZ-S lineup for 2024.
